Martha, 16 – Maternal Health, Education, Economic Empowerment

Kampala, Uganda: Martha, age 16, is the daughter of a sex worker and was sexually exploited when she became pregnant. We provide funding so should could receive prenatal care and give birth in a hospital. After she recovered, we have provided her with tuition and all the supplies she needs to return to school and provided a small income-generating project for her mother so she can care for Martha’s baby while she is in school.
